Whether experiencing a speech delay with your kiddo, a challenging behavioral pattern, or addressing a concern about different developmental, social, or sensory needs... our unique family support services can help.

We work closely with you to understand where your child is, assess any barriers to their social and emotional development, and co-create a plan to support them. We blend the science of behavioral health with the art of relationship building to infuse joyful, arts-based engagement that provides powerful clues for moving forward with greater ease, learning, and connection.

We reject deficit models of development and focus on strengths-based learning carefully integrated with creative play opportunities. Our founder, Vita, was a Behavioral Therapist for many years and left the field to integrate expressive arts, neuroscience, and other therapeutic frameworks she found beneficial to her clients.

If you have a question about whether we can help you and how, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a short interview. After your free consultation, if you are interested in moving forward you will receive a guide with customized options for working together based on your needs and goals. Let’s bring the joy of creative transformation to you and your heartful kid!

Testimonials

"I had an exceptional experience with Vita and Heartful Kids. When my son was approaching his first school experience, I reached out to Vita asking for help. She immediately felt easy to communicate with. She was responsive and caring and warm–something I knew my son would need. I didn't need more than our first zoom meeting to know she would offer my son Victor the support he (and we as a family) needed. Vita began by observing my son in his school setting and immediately noticed his need for connection. She saw through his “behaviors” and understood his motives. Her expertise in social emotional learning was evident in the way Vita helped him navigate ways to connect with peers.

Our family as a whole benefited from Vita’s services. My mom–who also has a learning disability–was able to understand Victor better by reading Vita’s notes. Vita can flex her strategies in the moment–a skill that hugely benefits children who have fluctuating and varying support needs. I highly recommend Vita."

"Vita worked with our daughter, Olive, as her ABA therapist during a pivotal time in her early development, and I can say without hesitation that her work changed our lives. Olive's progress under Vita’s guidance was nothing short of remarkable; she not only learned to speak but also began to thrive in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Vita’s genuine love and care extended beyond Olive to us as parents, helping us navigate the emotional challenges with compassion, patience, and honesty. She stayed late, answered every question, and gave us hope when we needed it most.

Vita later transitioned from ABA therapy to offering Transformative Arts sessions, and both of my daughters absolutely loved attending. What sets Vita apart is her ability to connect deeply with children and families, meeting them where they are and helping them grow in ways that feel natural and empowering. Vita is one of a kind."

"I have had the privilege of working closely with HeARTful Kids for several years. Our long-standing partnership has allowed us to directly experience the intentionality behind their curriculum and planning as well as the exceptional social-emotional benefits their program provides. Heartful Kids has consistently demonstrated an intentional and thoughtful approach in their curriculum, integrating social-emotional learning into every aspect of their programming. Their phenomenal teachers are carefully selected to ensure they are equipped to serve children from diverse backgrounds.

One of the most impressive aspects of Heartful Kids is their ability to adapt and evolve their programming each year to meet the changing needs of our students. We have seen firsthand the positive impact their work has had on our students, who consistently respond with enthusiasm to Heartful Kids' engaging and inclusive offerings."
